Woman found in burning North Miami trash bin is identified

The story:

A body of a woman was found burned in a trash bin in North Miami Sunday night. She was found in a flaming receptacle when Fire Rescue was called to extinguish the fire. She was identified through her dental records as Paula Johnson, 26 years old.

They are saying Police have not named a suspect or a motive. Investigators asked anyone with information to call Detective Michael Gaudio at 305-891-8111 or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.

My thoughts:

Stories like this astonish me every time. How can someone put another human being on fire, leave them there to die in pain. How did Paula get into a situation like this? Was this a family member, a boyfriend, a friend, or was it some random act of “wrong place at the wrong time”?

Every day there are stories, every day people die, every day people grieve for the ones who have passed and every day is another case to be solved. I hope that anyone with information goes to the police. Let Paula’s family get justice for what this person has done to her.

There is a time and place for death, being burned alive, isn’t one of them!

About Kristin Nicole

Kristin Nicole was born and raised in Miami, Florida. At 15 her family moved to Frisco, Texas for a year due to her father's job, and shortly was transferred back to Miami. Her love for dance and writing grew, but her love for writing continued through out the years. At 21 she moved to San Diego, California where she lived for two years only to make her way back home. Education was a struggle but she managed to work her way back, working full time and going to school on-line. In 2010 she reached her goal and first one in the family to get her Associates in Science for Psychology, her love of learning the human mind and everything about life has continued through her studies at Grand Canyon University, where she will get her Bachelors in Science for Psychology in June 2012. Although her passion for psychology is strong, her love for writing has taken her to new beginnings, where she will pursue her love into a Masters in Journalism. Every day she works hard to reach the goals of one day being a Great writer and editor. Each day is a step closer to her dreams coming true. A note from Kristin Nicole: I love to write, whether it’s poetry, small stories, or just about every day life. Writing down what I feel takes away all the concerns and all the stuff you don’t know how to say in person. To me it just comes naturally to write what I am feeling or thinking. I want this website to become a place people can turn to with questions, ideas, and everyday thoughts.
